• Receipt Data: Merchant names, dates, amounts, item descriptions, and categories you enter or that we extract from receipt images
• User Preferences: Settings like tax handling preferences and custom categories
• Purchase Information: Credit pack purchases, transaction amounts, and order IDs (processed through Polar.sh)

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Usage Data: How you interact with our service, including pages visited and features used
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address
• Error Logs: Technical information about errors or issues you encounter

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve our receipt scanning and expense tracking services
• Process receipt images using AI to extract text and categorize items
• Store your receipt data securely in our database

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 AI Processing

We use Google Gemini AI to analyze receipt images and extract information. Receipt images are sent to Google's servers for processing. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for information about how they handle data.

4.2 Google Sheets Integration (Optional)

If you choose to enable the Google Sheets integration, we will access your Google account to sync receipt data to a spreadsheet of your choice. We only access the specific spreadsheet you authorize and do not have access to other Google services. You can revoke this access at any time through your account settings or Google account permissions. Your use of Google Sheets is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

4.3 Cloud Storage

We use Convex as our backend service provider for data storage and authentication. Your receipt images and data are stored on Convex's secure servers.

4.4 Payment Processing

We use Polar.sh to process credit pack purchases. When you make a purchase, your payment information is securely handled by Polar.sh. We do not store your payment card details. We only receive order confirmation data including your email address, transaction amount, and order ID. 5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS
• Secure authentication with password hashing
• Access controls to ensure only you can view your receipts
• Regular security updates and monitoring

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your receipt data and images for as long as your account is active. If you delete a receipt, it is immediately removed from your account. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data we have stored about you
• Export: Download your receipt data in CSV format
• Delete: Remove individual receipts or delete your entire account
• Correct: Edit receipt information at any time

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
